Oilbrusher Starship Colours Set

AMMO Oilbrusher Starship Colours Set - a set of oil paints for weathering

A set of three Oilbrusher oil paints from AMMO (Mig Jimenez), intended for weathering an already painted model. The binder is oil - do not confuse these paints with acrylics (thinned with water) or with enamels (solvent). Every bottle has a built-in fine applicator brush and a metering system that wipes the excess off it, so the oil goes straight onto the model without being worked out on a palette. The paints come at a consistency ready for immediate use. The set contains three shades matched for shading and dirtying the surfaces of spaceships and science fiction subjects.

Use

• Put small dots and strokes straight from the built-in brush wherever you want to bring out volume, dirt or a change of color.
• Blend and soften the oil with a clean brush moistened in mineral spirits (white spirit) or an odorless thinner - never with water.
• Work on a varnished, thoroughly dry surface so the oil can be wiped back and adjusted without risk.
• Suitable for shading, bringing out rivets and panel lines, greasy streaks and color accents.
• Oil paints dry slowly - allow a longer pause before the next layer.

Who the set is for

For modelers of science fiction and space subjects who want to weather with oil paints quickly and cleanly, without working the oils out in the usual way. It serves well on aircraft and military vehicles too.

Oil paints and their thinners are flammable - work in a well ventilated area, away from sources of flame, and protect your skin and eyes. Keep out of the reach of children.
