A modeling paint from the Alclad II range in the Panzer Schwarzgrau shade, that is, in the dark gray tone associated with German armored subjects.
Responsibility details are not available.
Panzer Schwarzgrau is a dark gray shade that in modeling is associated with German armored subjects. On the large areas of a hull and a turret it looks very dark, so on a finished model it stands out only once the area is brought to life by shading, accenting the edges and weathering. That is exactly why with this tone the work with shades matters more than the coat of paint itself.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use so that the pigment is evenly dispersed. Choose both the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging; use a thinner intended for this range, not a random solvent. Lay it on in several thin coats onto a clean, degreased and sanded base, ideally onto a primer coat. Let each coat set before you lay the next one, otherwise the surface will close up and lose its detail.
In small scales a dark gray looks even darker than it really is, so the shade is often lightened slightly toward the centers of the areas. The edges and the rivets, by contrast, stand out in a darker tone or with a thin accent. Before weathering techniques, let the paint dry through thoroughly and secure the surface with a clear coat according to the manufacturer's instructions if need be, so that the layer beneath is not disturbed.
The thinner, the brushes and spraying equipment are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The volume of the package and the recommended thinning are stated in the manufacturer's description on the packaging.
