AMMO Photoetch Burnishing Fluid

A chemical fluid intended for blackening brass photo-etched parts, turned metal barrels and soldered joints quickly. Within a few minutes it creates a dark, steely finish on the surface that improves the adhesion of the coat that follows and unifies the color of the metal and the soldered spots. The product is used before gluing and painting photo-etched parts. The package holds 100 ml.

Use

• Degrease the photo-etched part and either dip it in the fluid or brush the fluid on.
• Leave it to work for roughly 3 to 5 minutes, until the metal turns black.
• Rinse it with water and let it dry, and only then glue and paint it.
• It also suits blackening tin solder for a uniform look to the joints.
• Work with protective gloves and protect your eyes.
