Model Scene water pigment, dark brown. A toning pigment for coloring model water to the shade of muddy pools, peat bogs and deep muddy ruts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pigment intended for toning pourable model water, which is added to the compound before casting. The shade therefore arises throughout the volume, and with a dark color that matters more than with the others: dark brown gains saturation very quickly with the thickness of the layer, so even a small amount of pigment turns a deeper area into practically opaque water. Opacity is meanwhile often exactly what a scene needs: a clouded surface hides an imperfect bottom and at the same time becomes a mirror that gives a diorama depth.
The shade matches water with a high content of organic matter and churned sediment: peat bogs, forest pools, flooded wagon ruts, deep muddy pits, standing drains and churned banks. In combination with a scene full of mud and rutted terrain it is the most natural choice, because the color of the water has to match the color of the soil the water washes away.
For builders of dioramas with muddy and rutted terrain, where water is part of the atmosphere of the scene, and for layout modelers who need standing dark water with no visible bottom. It will be appreciated by anyone who wants the shade of the surface under control while pouring rather than only after it has dried.
The pigment is added to model water; the model water itself is not included in the package. Work in a well-ventilated room, avoid breathing in dust from the pigment and close the container carefully after use. Keep out of the reach of children.
