AMMO Pigment Fixer 35 ml (a pigment fixer)

Pigment Fixer from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is an auxiliary fluid intended for firmly fixing dry weathering pigments on the surface of a model, a base or a diorama. Once the pigment (dust, mud, soot, rust) has been applied, the fixer anchors it so that it can no longer be rubbed off or stirred up. The pack contains 35 ml. It is not a paint and not a pigment on its own – it is a fixing medium used together with pigments.

Use

• First apply the dry pigment with a brush onto the place on the model you want
• Bring the fixer gently to the edge of the pigment with a brush – thanks to capillary action it soaks in by itself and spreads under the layer of powder
• Let it dry thoroughly; once dry, the pigment returns to its original matte shade and stays firmly attached
• Avoid flooding it too much, so that the pigment is not washed into one place – add the fixer gradually
• It can also be used for a pigment slurry mixed in advance, which you apply and let dry
