Pigment Fixer 35ml

AK Interactive Pigment Fixer 35 ml (a pigment fixer)

Pigment Fixer from AK Interactive is an auxiliary fluid intended for fixing dry weathering pigments on the surface of a model and a base. It is used wherever you apply dust, mud or rust pigments and need to anchor them permanently so that they do not rub off. The pack contains 35 ml. It is not a paint and not a pigment on its own – it is a fixing medium used together with pigments.

Use

• Apply the dry pigment with a brush onto the area of the model you want
• Bring the fixer with a brush to the edge of the pigment – it soaks in by capillary action and spreads under the layer of powder without moving it
• Alternatively you can mix the pigment with the fixer into a slurry beforehand and apply it wet
• Let it dry thoroughly; once dry, the pigment returns to its original matte shade and stays firmly attached
• Add the fixer gradually, so that the pigment does not run together into blotches

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles, aircraft and dioramas who work with dust and mud pigments and need to fix them without changing the look. Suitable for advanced modelers and for beginners learning to weather with pigments.

Contains thinner components – use in a well ventilated space, do not inhale the fumes, protect your eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children and away from sources of ignition, and store the bottle closed in a cool place.
