A resin kit part from MAiM out of the modular tube system for building pipe runs in a diorama. This piece is a four-way (cross) connector in which pipework branches in four directions. The part is compatible with ordinary plastic (styrene) tubes of the matching diameter and rounds out the straight sections, bends and end caps in the range. It is not a figure or a model of equipment but a scenic accessory. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
A cross connector makes it possible to create the branching pipe runs found in factories, refineries and industrial grounds. With it, pipework leads in four directions out of a single node and a scene gains complexity and credibility. With ordinary plastic tubes you can extend the run as you like.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, clean up the seam lines and bond them with super glue. Apply a primer before painting. Bring the metal out in gray, green or rust as you intend, and on the edges add chipping, traces of rust and a wash to pick out the joints and the flanges.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, plastic tubes and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
