About product

Sandy earth — a Sira Hobby pigment paste

The pigment paste Sandy earth is a weathering product from the Czech manufacturer Sira Hobby intended for creating realistic deposits of soil and dried mud on plastic models, vehicles and dioramas. It is a thick paste of a muddy consistency in a light sandy earth shade, which can be applied in a thin as well as a thicker layer and freely layered.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush, a spatula, a stick or a finger to running gear, fenders, wheels and tracks
  • The consistency and the drying speed can be adjusted by thinning it with water
  • Once dry it holds by itself and has a matte earthy finish
  • It can be combined with dust pigments and liquid weathering products for multi-layered effects

Who it is for

It will be appreciated by modelers of military and civil vehicles, diorama builders and anyone who wants to give a model convincing deposits of mud and soil. The package contains 30 ml of paste.

A water-thinnable pigment-based paste, non-toxic. Keep out of the reach of children; do not breathe in the dust created when sanding a dried layer.
