Model Craft plastic G-clamp, 25 mm opening is a light joiner's clamp in a miniature version. It holds glued parts together until the glue has dried.

A small clamp in the shape of the letter G, all of plastic, with a maximum opening of 25 mm. Compared with metal clamps the plastic construction is considerably lighter, so the clamp does not pull the glued part down under its own weight, and the softened ends of the jaws spare the surface. It is tightened with a wing-head screw, that is with one hand and without tools. On a modeling bench it suits anywhere two parts have to be held together for longer than fingers or a rubber band could manage.
For modelers who glue smaller assemblies and need to fix them safely, for builders of ship and wooden models and for small workshop jobs. In a workshop it usually pays to have several of them, because a straight joint holds best when it is pressed at several points at once. The small opening is not a limitation but an advantage: the clamp reaches places an ordinary workshop clamp would not fit into.
Tighten the clamp with care, as the plastic screw can be overtightened and damaged. Do not use it as a vise for large forces and do not expose it to high temperatures.
