Polystyrene sheets 0.6 mm thick from Plusmodel are a modeling raw material for building your own parts, for repairs and for conversions. It is not a kit.

This is a modeling material, not a kit. A smooth sheet of styrene plastic 0.6 millimeter thick belongs to the basic stock of every workshop where something is made to measure. The thickness of 0.6 mm is a versatile middle value, firm enough for a part to hold its shape and at the same time thin enough to be cut easily, bent after warming and sanded to its final shape. The material is compatible with ordinary plastic kits, so it is glued with the same glues as they are.
The sheet is not cut through, it is scored. Run a sharp blade or a scriber along a metal ruler a couple of times to make the groove and then snap the material over the edge of the table; the cut will be clean and straight. Sand the edges with a fine abrasive. It is glued with liquid cement for plastic models, which runs into the joint by capillary action and welds the joint, so to speak, and on larger surfaces cyanoacrylate glue also helps. It can be bent after careful warming over a source of heat, but work in small steps, as the plastic reacts quickly. Degrease the surface before painting and spray a primer, so that the paint holds and the sanding marks show up.
For modelers who repair and improve kits, build conversions and parts of their own, and for diorama builders who need a source of smooth plastic for structures and fittings. The material is tied to no scale and to no particular model, so it comes into its own across the board.
This is a raw material without instructions and without pre-printed parts. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
