Q Posket - Disney Dreamy Style Glitter Collection Vol. 2 - Cinderella

Cinderella - a collector figure from the Dreamy Style Glitter collection

It is not a kit but a finished collector figure. It comes assembled and fully painted, so there is no modeling work for you: once unpacked you only stand it on a shelf, on a desk or in a display case. The figure belongs to the Q Posket line from Bandai, specifically to the Disney Dreamy Style Glitter Collection sub-line with the sequence marking Vol. 2. Sub-lines of this kind are held together by a single stylistic treatment across several characters, so the figures display well as a whole.

The real subject

Cinderella is the heroine of one of the best known Disney classics, the feature-length animated film of 1950 made after an old European fairy tale. The story of a girl who lives under the thumb of a stepmother and stepsisters, is given a single night of transformation by her fairy godmother and leaves a slipper behind at the ball, is among the cornerstones of the studio work. Cinderella has since become one of the key characters of the Disney princess line and her blue ball gown is one of the most recognizable costumes in animated history. The character remains popular among adult collectors as well, who have a bond with her from childhood.

Display and care

Place the figure out of direct sunlight and away from sources of heat, so that it keeps the saturation of its colors and the sheen of its surface. Wipe the dust off with a fine brush or a dry microfiber cloth; solvents and spirit do not belong on a painted surface. A closed display case will lengthen the time the figure looks as good as new. We recommend keeping the original box and packing.
