A modeling product intended for creating a still water surface on a scene. It comes into its own wherever there is to be water on a scene: a puddle on a rutted field track, a ford, a stream, a pond, the surface in a harbor or a flooded road. Water is at the same time an element that gives a scene depth and also reveals how much attention the builder paid to the base.
The basis is a watertight bed. Shape and paint the base first, because the color of the bottom determines the resulting shade of the surface: the darker the bottom, the deeper the impression. Seal the edges of the scene carefully so that the product does not leak out, including where it meets the base. Then it is poured into the prepared bed and left to cure undisturbed. The thickness of a single layer, the drying time and the way tools are cleaned are given by the manufacturer on the packaging, so follow those. While it sets, protect the scene from dust, which would print into the surface permanently.
It suits builders of dioramas, display bases and small scenes with figures and vehicles. A base, terrain media, figures and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
