Plastruct Rectangular Strip 2.0 x 2.5 x 250 mm

A rectangular plastic rod with a section of 2.0 mm (height) x 2.5 mm (width) and a length of 250 mm. It is a precisely extruded profile in modeling plastic, which cuts, sands, drills and glues easily. It serves as a universal building material for scratch-building, that is for building your own parts and structures from the ground up. The package holds one piece.

Work tips

Part the profile with a sharp blade or a saw and dress the edges with fine abrasive paper. Polystyrene profiles are joined with modeling cement for plastic (liquid poly cement), while cyanoacrylate glue gives a firm joint even with dissimilar materials. The surface can be primed and sprayed with ordinary modeling paints.
