A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the AK 3rd Generation Acrylics AIR range for aircraft models, 17 ml. RLM 81 Braunviolett is a late-war Luftwaffe shade whose true tone is still debated among historians. The manufacturer therefore offers two versions; Version 1 is the browner mix, shifted further toward violet. The paint is heavily pigmented and dries to a matte finish.
For modelers who prefer the browner-violet reading of the RLM 81 shade. A water-based acrylic with no odor suits beginners and advanced modelers alike.
A water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and non-flammable. It is thinned only with water or AK acrylic thinner – never with lacquer or nitro thinner. Provide ventilation when airbrushing.
