A set of rollers (Roll Set I.) from 3Detail intended for bending and forming thin sheet metal and photo-etched parts into rounded shapes. The etched part or the thin sheet is drawn between the rollers, which gradually curl it into a rounded or cylindrical shape without sharp kinks. The tool makes it possible to create smooth curves, for example on covers, tanks or rounded panels. Bending between rollers is gentler than forming by hand: the sheet curls evenly and no creases or drawn-out edges appear on it. You reach the curvature you want by tightening gradually and drawing the part through repeatedly; bend in two passes rather than in one abrupt one.
