Rolling Pin ELVEN is a Green Stuff World texture roller with fine elven ornament. It is not a paint and not a kit — it impresses decorative pattern into your modeling compound.
Responsibility details are not available.
Ornamental patterns are among the most laborious things that can be carved by hand on a diorama. The roller turns them into a matter of one pass: into rolled-out modeling compound it impresses interwoven lines and decorative motifs in the spirit of elven architecture, of the kind that suits wall facings, gates, the bases of heroes and a frieze under a statue.
Ornament shows to advantage through contrast. Over a dark base use a glaze and drybrushing so that light stays only on the raised lines, or else set the ornament apart with a metallic shade against the matte area of the background. A wash runs into the grooves and draws the definition out; more than with coarse textures, though, the rule here is that fewer layers means a better result.
Modeling compound, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Sand cured compounds with respiratory protection.
