This is a flexible abrasive cloth with a 600 grit abrasive from Tamiya. Unlike ordinary sandpaper, the backing is a soft fabric that can adapt to curved shapes, such as the body of a car model, the fuselage of an aircraft or curved edges. It can be used for dry sanding and for wet sanding alike.
Suitable for modelers of all levels who want a cleanly prepared surface under paint and clear coats. The 600 grit is medium: it suits leveling seams and preparing a surface, while finer grits follow for the final polishing.
It is advisable to use the abrasive cloth with respiratory protection, and to wet sand with plenty of water. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
