AMMO Standard Scriber 1.5 mm / 2 mm (AMMO)

A scribing tool intended for creating and restoring panel lines on plastic models. Drawing the tip along a ruler produces a clean, continuous groove. The set holds tips 1.5 and 2 mm wide with protective caps that keep the cutting edge from damage. The tool also suits fine cutting of plastic profiles. It is made by AMMO.

Use

  • Scribing new panel lines and restoring lines sanded away during the build.
  • Guiding the tip along a flexible metal ruler or hard scribing tape for straight lines.
  • Suitable for plastic, PVC, resin and other soft materials; it is not intended for metal or ceramics.
  • Scribing textures such as brick or stone into soft modeling sheet.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to restore or add panel lines and refine surface detail. Starting with light pressure and deepening the groove gradually over several passes is recommended.

The tool has a sharp tip, so work carefully, draw the stroke away from your body and fit the protective cap after use.
