About product

AK interactive Terrains Light Earth (250 ml)

Terrains Light Earth from AK interactive is a textured acrylic paste in a light earth shade that imitates light soil, dusty ground and dry terrain. It serves to create the base and the surfaces in dioramas, vignettes and on model bases. The package holds 250 ml.

Use

  • Creating light soil and dusty, dry terrain in a diorama and on a base.
  • It is applied with a spatula, a scraper or a brush straight onto the base and forms a textured earth surface.
  • It works in a thin as well as a thicker layer; it can be thinned with water for better flow and a finer texture.
  • Static grass, gravel or grit can be pressed into the paste while it is still wet; once dry, the surface can be toned with washes and pigments.

Who it is for

For diorama builders and modelers who want a faithful surface of light soil and dry terrain. Drying time depends on the thickness of the layer - thin layers dry within hours, thicker ones take longer.

An accessory for modelers, not a toy. A water-thinnable acrylic paste; work in a ventilated area and keep out of the reach of children.
