A finished collector figure by Bandai with one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji gang. It is not a kit and nothing on it is glued, filled or painted - it comes complete and painted from the factory, so all you do is unpack it and stand it on a shelf. Figures for this series come out character by character, so a collection can be expanded step by step and the whole crew displayed in one place.
Haruki Hayashida, better known in the story under the nickname Pah-chin, belongs to the first generation of the Tokyo Manji gang in Tokyo Revengers. He is not a character who pulls the main story line, but he is one of those through whom the series shows its main theme: how easily a bunch of kids turns into something none of them wanted, and how a single decision can settle the fate of a whole group. Visually he is recognizable by his striking hairstyle and by the gang uniform that most of the founding members wear. For a collector he is a character who makes sense mainly in the context of the whole group.
The figure is not modified in any way; it is only a matter of where you stand it. Display it out of direct sunlight; long-term light does the colors no good and shows on the light areas fastest. Remove dust from the hair and from the folds of the uniform with a soft brush, as a cloth catches on the small edges. Do not use solvents or cleaning chemicals on the painted surface. If you stand the whole group side by side, it pays to leave a gap between the figures so that the silhouettes do not overlap. It is sensible to keep the box.
