About product

Track Wash 75 ml (MIG Productions)

An enamel (solvent-based) wash of 75 ml volume tuned directly for the tracks of tanks and tracked vehicles. Its dark rusty brown tone gives the tracks a convincing look of worn, oxidized metal and it also suits general rust effects on metal parts. The product is liquid, ready to use and thinned with mineral spirits (white spirit).

Use

  • It is applied with a soft round brush over a dried finish on the tracks and the running gear, ideally one with a matte clear coat.
  • Let it flash off for about 15 minutes, then draw off the excess with a brush moistened in thinner and leave the wash in the recesses and around the detail.
  • By layering it and combining it with pigments you build up mud and dust effects on the running gear.
  • It also suits rusted metal accessories and tools.

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles who want to weather tracks and running gear quickly and faithfully and to suggest rust on metal parts.

An enamel product containing solvents: work in a ventilated area, away from open flame. Use mineral spirits for thinning and cleaning.
