A sheet of riveting rows in 1:32 scale for aircraft models. The rivets are three-dimensional and are applied as a wet decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
Riveting is visible on a real aircraft even from a distance, but on a model it is most often lost: either it is only shallowly suggested in the molding, or it disappears when filled joints are sanded. This sheet in 1:32 scale makes it possible to put the rivets back, including on surfaces where working with a riveting wheel would be difficult or would risk pushing through a thin wall.
The riveting rows are arranged in threes on the sheet and have a three-dimensional relief, so once varnished they cast a shadow of their own and do not look like mere printing. The length you need is cut from the sheet, so one sheet yields riveting for several parts or for a whole model, depending on its size.
This is a wet decal. Varnish the base with gloss varnish first, otherwise matte milky edges will appear around the decal. Soak the cut strip in water for a few seconds, let it stand, slide it off the paper onto the surface and line it up with the axis of the part. Press the water out from under the decal with a soft cloth, apply a decal softener and let it dry without any further touching. Finally varnish the area so that the edges disappear.
The sheet will be used by modelers who build in a large scale and want a model surface with texture even after filling and sanding. It also helps those who do not feel up to embossing rivets with a wheel, or whose results come out irregular and of uneven depth. The model, paints, varnishes and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
