Lifecolor C1 Yellow, a matte acrylic

A matte water-thinnable acrylic paint from Lifecolor. The C1 yellow shade belongs to the palette intended for the aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) of the Second World War, where yellow was used among other things on wing leading edges and recognition markings. The bottle holds 22 ml.

Use

  • Applied with a brush or an airbrush; for spraying it is thinned with water or acrylic thinner.
  • Yellow shades are less opaque, so apply several thin coats, ideally over a light ground.
  • Suited to Japanese naval aircraft and to additional markings and detail.
  • The matte surface takes the washes and varnish that follow well.
