The tropical underside blue of German aircraft carries the number 78 in the RLM system, and in acrylic it is represented by Lifecolor Luftwaffe Hellblau RLM 78.
The shadow member of the flesh trio: the acrylic shade Lifecolor Dark African Tone is used where a face is meant to gain depth, that is, in the eye sockets, under the chin and in the folds.
The lighter flesh tone Lifecolor Light Native Tone serves to pull out the highlights on a face and hands, that is, on the forehead, the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and the knuckles.
An aircraft camouflage scheme does not end at green and gray: Lifecolor Gloss Blue FS15056 is a saturated gloss blue for national insignia, stripes and ceremonial finishes that lie over the matte areas of the wing and the fuselage.
The green foundation of the modern three-color camouflage is held by the shade NATO Green FS34094 , a water-based acrylic paint from the modeling range of the Lifecolor brand.
Lifecolor Native Warm Base is a water-thinnable matte acrylic paint, 22 ml, in a warm base shade. It serves as a warm ground tone for the areas of figures and models.
