The brown tone Dark Tan FS30219 Satin from the Lifecolor brand is a water-based acrylic paint and it closes the color trio of the American Southeast Asia camouflage.
Responsibility details are not available.
A warm brown pulled toward sand, with the number of the American Federal Standard, completes the two green components of the American Southeast Asia camouflage. The gloss level is stated by the name itself: satin. The base is a water-based acrylic.
In a scheme with two greens and one brown it is precisely the brown that changes the overall impression most. When it is applied too richly, the whole camouflage looks desert-like; when it is suppressed, on the other hand, it gets lost. It proves worthwhile to apply it last of the trio and to check its extent against the reference rather than by eye. A semi-gloss surface will moreover show later toning and fine differences in wear well. A warm brown also readily takes earthy pigments and dust effects, because it is tonally akin to them and the transition between the paint and the deposit does not look artificial.
It is intended for modelers who build American vehicles of the postwar period and want the complete camouflage trio from one maker. It is applied with the brush and the airbrush alike.
Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a ventilated room and stir the contents before use.
