A set of six acrylic shades from the Blue Line range that covers both camouflage schemes of the Russian Su-34 frontline bomber, including the radomes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-34 grew out of the airframe of the Su-27 fighter, but the crew sits side by side in an armored cockpit with a flat nose, which protects the pilot and the navigator even when attacking targets directly over the battle line. The flat front gave the machine a nickname after a duck's bill and, together with the long tail sting, it makes this type one of the most easily recognizable combat aircraft of the present day. Its coloring went through a marked change: the machines as introduced wore a busy green-blue three-tone scheme, while newer aircraft moved to a more uniform gray finish.
The six belong to the Blue Line branch, that is, to the acrylic range of the Polish brand. The shades are mixed so that they go together as one whole, which is more useful with a three-tone camouflage than putting tones together from different standards.
Before spraying, stir the bottle thoroughly, adjust the consistency with thinner of the same brand and apply in thin coats. The transitions between the fields of the three-tone camouflage were soft on the real machines, so it pays to work at low pressure and from close up. The model has to be obtained separately, as do the decals and the clear coat for bedding them in.
