A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line, the UN Blue shade with a reference to the number FS 35250.
Responsibility details are not available.
A blue shade from the Orange Line by Hataka, carried under the name UN Blue. The number FS 35250 given in the name refers to the American standard of shades, thanks to which the paint is easy to compare with conversion tables and with the shades of other lines. The designation UN points at vehicles in the service of the United Nations, where a light blue appears both on the machines themselves and on their markings.
It suits models of vehicles, aircraft and helicopters in the colors of peacekeeping missions and their markings, but also anywhere you need a clean light blue with no cast toward green. It also serves well as a base under later lightening or toning, because shades are easier to fine-tune over a light base. It will serve on small areas and accessories too, where a darker blue would disappear.
Shake the bottle properly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom. The thinner intended for this line and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging, so go by them; mixing with thinners from other lines does not pay off. Spray in several thin coats and let each one flash off, because one heavy coat floods the surface detail. Light shades cover better over a light base, so a base coat beforehand is worth having. Clean the tools and the airbrush right after work, as dried paint is far harder to remove.
The thinner, cleaner, base coat and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
