US MODERN VEHICLES SET

US Modern Vehicles Set - an AMMO weathering set

A set from AMMO intended for weathering modern American military vehicles deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. These are not paints for a base coat but an effects set that adds a realistic layer of dust and grime to a finished, painted model. It holds a combination of a liquid wash, a streaking effect and a dust pigment.

Use

• The wash brings out the detail and runs into recesses, rivets and gaps.
• The streaking effect creates vertical traces of grime running down the sides and superstructures.
• The dust pigment settles a dry deposit on the running gear and on horizontal surfaces.
• Suitable for modern armored vehicles, Humvees and wheeled vehicles in desert service.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want matched weathering of modern US vehicles without putting the individual products together themselves. The effects are enamel (solvent-based), so they can be blended easily and wiped away if need be.

The liquid effects are solvent-based and flammable - work in a well-ventilated space and do not breathe in the pigment. They are thinned with mineral spirits. Keep out of the reach of children.
