About product

Abteilung 502 Vietnam Earth

Vietnam Earth is a fine weathering pigment (a loose powder) from Abteilung 502. The shade matches reddish-brown tropical soil and is intended for weathering models and dioramas. It is not an opaque paint but a pigment that is applied to a finished, painted model.

Use

  • Dusty and muddy deposits typical of Southeast Asia
  • Dust-covered landing gear, undersides and the running gear of vehicles
  • Earthy deposits on the boots of figures and on diorama terrain
  • Applied dry with a soft brush and sealed with a pigment fixer or mineral spirits

Who it is for

For modelers and diorama builders working on tropical and Southeast Asian settings, but also for general earthy soiling of vehicles and figures.

The pigment is a fine powder: do not inhale it and work in a well-ventilated space. Keep out of the reach of children.
