Wet Sandpaper 2500 from AK interactive is a very fine abrasive paper for wet sanding, meant for the last step before polishing or a final varnish.
Responsibility details are not available.
In modeling practice, 2500 grit is a finishing grade, not a corrective one. The material removes practically nothing; instead it erases the mark left by the previous, coarser paper and leaves a surface that looks uniform once polished or once a gloss varnish has been laid over it. Sanding under water is practically a condition at this grade: dry, the paper would clog at once and would start to dirty the surface rather than smooth it.
Lower grades work on the shape: they level filler, parting lines and sprue remains. 2500 grit deals only with the look of the surface, so bring it in at the very end and never try to make up with it for something that should have been leveled earlier. Work steadily, with a minimum of pressure, wipe the area as you go and check it against the light. Remove the sanding slurry thoroughly before varnishing.
For modelers who take gloss surfaces to a high shine, such as cars, motorcycles, canopies and covers, and for anyone who wants a coat with no visible sanding marks.
Protect your eyes while sanding and work in a ventilated area.
