A set of modeling markers focused on the cockpit colors of WWII Axis aircraft. The paint flows straight from the tip, reaching even the smallest cockpit parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A themed set of modeling markers dedicated to the cockpit colors of WWII Axis aircraft. On a fighter, the cockpit covers barely a few square centimeters of the model's surface, yet it is exactly where the viewer looks first. The seat, straps, levers, framing and instrument panel must be set apart in color from one another, or the interior blurs into a single dark hole.
The paint comes straight from the tip, with no mixing, no thinning and no airbrush, so you can hit a part as small as a pinhead. This set belongs among the markers for highlighting and weathering surfaces.
Paint the cockpit before gluing the fuselage together, along with the parts that go inside it. Wash and degrease the surface, and work in thin coats with a pause to dry between them. Dark interiors benefit from slight edge highlighting, or they disappear in photos. Try the stroke and shade on an offcut first. The exact procedure for this set is given in the instructions on the packaging.
Suited to builders of WWII Axis aircraft who want a well-defined cockpit without preparing an airbrush or mixing paints. The set is also usable for touch-ups and finishing an already-built model. The package contains the listed set of markers; the model, other paints, lacquers and thinners are not included, unless stated otherwise.
