Eight acrylics for Soviet equipment and soldiers of the end of the Cold War. Green-ocher and khaki tones, a brown for equipment and a pale blue for an interior, 17 ml each.

The Soviet ground forces of the 1980s drove mostly in a single-color finish whose tone differed according to the plant of manufacture and according to how long a machine had stood outdoors. In photographs from exercises you will therefore find vehicles from a deep grass green to a faded green-ocher, and that within one unit. The set counts on this and offers several close shades between which a choice can be made according to the degree of fading you want to show.
The package consists of eight bottles of seventeen milliliters. Besides the greens it holds tones that belong to the crew and to the inside of a machine.
The paints are thinned with water and can be laid on with a brush as well as with an airbrush once thinned. Because the green tones are close to each other, it is recommended to make a sample card on a piece of plastic first, or the difference will be lost on the model. Anyone building a whole group of machines can give each vehicle a different base tone, and the unit at once gains the convincing unevenness that real photographs from maneuvers have. The set holds no thinner and no varnish.
