X-15 Light Green 23ml

Tamiya X-15 Light Green, a gloss acrylic paint, 23 ml

Tamiya X-15 Light Green is a water-thinnable acrylic paint from Tamiya in a light green shade with a gloss surface. The letter X in the Tamiya designation means the gloss range, while XF is the matte range, so X-15 dries to a smooth gloss. It is supplied in the classic glass jar with a volume of 23 ml. Note: this is a modeling paint, not a kit and not an accessory for a model.

Use

• Gloss light green finishes of civil vehicles: cars and vans, agricultural and construction machines, motorcycles, small vehicles in a diorama.
• Details and accessories where a saturated gloss green is useful: instruments, jerrycans, crates, bottles, toys and equipment for scenes.
• Also suitable for interiors and small areas where a smooth gloss surface is required under decals (gloss is the ideal base for decals, as it limits the silvering effect).
• Mixing shades: light green is a practical base for lightening darker greens or for creating your own tones.
• It is applied with an airbrush as well as with a brush. For spraying and for brushing alike, thin it with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner.

Who the paint is for

For modelers who build cars, civil and commercial vehicles, dioramas and accessory scenes, and for anyone who mixes their own shades of green. Tamiya acrylics hold on the common modeling plastics; on bare plastic a primer is recommended for better adhesion and even coverage. If you want to subdue the gloss, a matte varnish can be sprayed over it at the end.

Safety: work in a well-ventilated area and, when spraying with an airbrush, protect your airways (a respirator) and your eyes. Keep out of the reach of children, close the container carefully after use and store it away from sources of heat and open flame.
