Tamiya XF-6 Copper (Enamel) is a copper metallic from Tamiya's matte enamel (synthetic) line, in a 10 ml bottle. This is a modeling paint, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling paint from Tamiya's enamel (synthetic) line in a 10 ml volume. What is notable about this shade: it is a metallic placed in the matte line — the prefix XF for Tamiya means a matte shade (as opposed to the gloss X), which is unusual for metallic paints. The result is a copper without a mirror-like shine, with more of a muted metallic cast, which suits older, used and weathered metal very well. Do not confuse it with acrylic: this paint is an enamel, i.e. solvent-based, and is thinned with X-20 thinner — not the acrylic X-20A. Tamiya also offers the same XF-6 number as an acrylic, which is the most common source of mix-ups.
For builders of ships, historical and industrial equipment, diorama makers, and anyone who wants a realistic copper without an exaggerated shine. Thanks to the matte base, it is easier to weather and combine with pigments.
Safety: flammable. Irritates the airways — work with good ventilation and respiratory protection, especially with an airbrush. Keep out of the reach of children. Lacquer (nitro) paints must not be applied over enamel.
