This is a duralumin metallic paint (lacquer) from AK Interactive of the Xtreme Metal range, not a kit. It creates a light, bright shade of duralumin with a pronounced metallic shine that can be polished to mirror metal once dry. It is the key shade for natural metal finish (NMF) surfaces typical of unpainted aircraft. The paint is ready for the airbrush, covers excellently and does not damage plastic. It achieves its best effect over a smooth glossy black base (Xtreme Metal Black Base). It comes in a bottle with a volume of 30 ml.
For modelers of aircraft and other subjects with a natural metal surface who want a realistic glossy duralumin without metallic powder. Working with an airbrush and a glossy base assumes rather more experienced users; the result is a mirror metallic surface that an ordinary silver paint cannot create.
A lacquer-based paint. Highly flammable, and the fumes irritate the airways. Apply it with an airbrush only, in a well ventilated space or in a spray booth, use a respirator and eye protection. Keep out of the reach of children and away from open flame.
