A kit of the Soviet light amphibious tank T-38 in the small scale of 1:100 from the manufacturer Zebrano, which specializes in small armored equipment in exactly this scale. The finished model is very compact and suits a collection as well as a gaming table.
The T-38 was a Soviet light amphibious tank of the second half of the 1930s, developed as the successor to the T-37A type. The crew of two had machine gun armament in a rotating turret at their disposal, and thanks to a propeller the machine was able to cross water obstacles by swimming. T-38 tanks served above all on reconnaissance and liaison duty; they were sent into action at the end of the 1930s and in the opening phase of the Second World War, where their weak armor and armament showed, however. For a modeler it is an interesting piece of evidence of the interwar design school of amphibious equipment.
In a small scale, work with a sharp knife and a fine file, and pick the small parts up with tweezers. Give the model a primer once it is assembled, and lighten the basic green shade; in a small scale dark colors look exaggeratedly saturated. A fine wash will accentuate the details, and then drybrushing will do the edges. You can dust the running gear lightly with pigments for the impression of service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
