This resin kit captures the Soviet light amphibious tank T-40 in the version with the 20mm TNSh gun, in the small 1:100 scale. The model is meant for experienced modelers: the parts are separated from the casting blocks, washed free of mold release agent and glued with cyanoacrylate.
The T-40 was a Soviet light amphibious tank from the beginning of the Second World War, able to move in water thanks to its boat-shaped stern and a propeller. It was meant above all for reconnaissance and liaison. The more heavily armed versions received the 20mm TNSh automatic cannon with a coaxial machine gun in place of the heavy machine gun, which raised their firepower against lightly armored targets.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up with your airways protected. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In 1:100 scale a uniform Soviet green finish with light edge highlighting comes into its own; keep the weathering restrained so that it does not overwhelm the small details of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
