A resin kit of the Soviet T-50 light tank in 1:100 scale. The small scale matches the popular 15 mm size for wargames and at the same time makes it possible to display a whole parade of armored vehicles in a minimum of space. The model is supplied as resin castings and is intended for more experienced modelers.
The T-50 light tank came about in the early 1940s as a modern replacement for the aging T-26 in the infantry support role. For its weight class it offered very well laid out sloped armor, a diesel engine and armament consisting of a 45 mm gun with a coaxial machine gun. Because of its complicated and costly production in the conditions of 1941, however, only a small number were built and it appeared at the front only rarely - which is exactly what makes it an interesting and rarely seen subject for a collection.
Before building, wash the resin parts in warm soapy water to remove any mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks and sand them down; use respiratory protection while sanding resin. The parts are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After the primer we recommend an overall coat of green, a fine wash in the recesses and a dry brush on the edges - in 1:100 scale the contrast of the details does surprisingly much.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
