Responsibility details are not available.
This product is a small model of the Czechoslovak infantry blockhouse MJ-S 3 Zahrada, meaning garden, in 1:1000 scale from the association ROP o.s. It is a miniature of a real heavy fortification work, intended for collectors and enthusiasts of the border fortification. Given the small scale it is a compact model for a display cabinet or for a map plan of a defense line.
MJ-S 3 Zahrada is an infantry blockhouse of the Czechoslovak heavy fortification built in the 1930s to defend the border. It stands in the area of Satov and today is open to the public as a museum site. Infantry blockhouses were tough reinforced concrete structures with a garrison and fortress armament, forming the backbone of the Czechoslovak border fortification.
At such a small scale, work with tweezers and good lighting. Clean any flash off the parts and apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush or a fine brush. A concrete look is reinforced by gray shades and fine weathering with a wash into the recesses and the engraving.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, unless stated otherwise. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
