Responsibility details are not available.
A model of a particular work of the border fortifications in 1:1000 scale. The model corresponds to one recorded structure with the serial number 68 and the code name Na propustku; the neighboring numbers of the same construction section are made as separate models. That is precisely what makes the series interesting: it allows a more continuous part of the line to be put together step by step rather than just one specimen work. The material, the number of parts and the contents of the package are stated on the box.
The subject is an infantry casemate, that is a reinforced concrete work of the heavy fortifications with a thickened wall turned forward, side fighting rooms and a gorge wall with the entrance. The works differ from one another in ground plan, in the number of floors and in how deeply they are sunk, according to the particular site.
If you are planning several works of a section, it pays to deal with them all at once on a shared base. First plan out the spacing and the orientation of the individual works and only then seat them, because in 1:1000 it is easy to crowd the whole so much that it loses legibility. Paint the works together with one mix, so that the concrete keeps the same tone, and set them apart only by the terrain around them, that is by vegetation, the slope of the ground or a road. Put labels with the designations of the works on the frame of the base, not on the model, so that they do not disturb the scale. Finally even the whole area out with a light dusting pigment.
The model is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue, terrain compounds and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
