Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the specialist manufacturer Aviattic with a five-color night lozenge pattern in 1:144 scale, printed in the full width of the strips of fabric for the upper and lower surfaces. This is not a kit: these are decals that replace the laborious painting of the most complex camouflage any wings ever carried.
The lozenge is a polygonal camouflage print on fabric used by the German air service of the First World War, with colored polygons printed directly onto the covering material. The five-color night version uses dark, subdued tones intended for night operations, typically on night bombers. The full pattern width version means that the pattern is printed across the full width of the strips of fabric, so you cut and lay the strips yourself according to the drawings for your particular model, exactly as the fabric was laid onto the frame of an aircraft in the factory.
Prepare the surface with gloss clear, work with the decals strip by strip and follow the documentation for the particular machine for the orientation of the pattern. In 1:144 scale the areas are small, so a sharp knife, patience and decal setting solutions to make them adhere to the detail are a necessity. Once dry, go over them with a matte or semi-matte clear coat, which evens the surface out and protects the decals.
The decals are supplied unapplied. Setting solutions and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
