A plastic model of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IF/VIF in 1:144 scale from Mark I — the British heavy and night fighter with radar.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded kit of the British Bristol Beaufighter in the Mk.IF/VIF versions in the small 1:144 scale from Mark I. The kit has finely engraved surface detail and is usually complemented by resin details and a decal sheet. The small scale and the fine parts make the model more of a project for careful building.
The Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter of the Second World War. The Mk.IF version was among the first night fighters equipped with AI airborne radar and became an effective weapon against night raids. The later Mk.VIF received more powerful engines and a wider choice of armament and range. The Beaufighter was famous for its heavy onboard armament and its all-round service with the RAF.
In 1:144 scale, pay attention to clean fit and fine painting. Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and the plastic with liquid cement for plastic. Prime first and apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats; settle the tiny decals with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
