This small injection-molded plastic kit with photo-etched parts captures the projected D variant of the German Heinkel He 162 Volksjäger light jet fighter. The package contains plastic parts, a photo-etched fret and decals. In 1:144 scale it is a very compact model.
The Heinkel He 162 Volksjäger, meaning people's fighter, was a German single-engined jet fighter of the very end of the Second World War, designed as a cheap machine that could be built quickly, with the engine mounted above the fuselage. The D variant was a projected development stage with a modified wing; it never reached series production or service.
In a small scale, work with the tiny parts carefully; glue the plastic with liquid cement and the fine photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paint on in thin coats so that the detail is not lost.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
