RAF WWII crewmen in high altitude outfit – Flight Stories is a resin set of two figures of RAF crewmen in high-altitude flying gear in 1:144 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of two figures for experienced modelers in the small 1:144 scale. The figures show airmen of the Royal Air Force from the Second World War in high-altitude flying gear, that is, in heavy suits and equipment for flight at great heights. The set belongs to the Flight Stories line and serves to bring scenes with small aircraft models and dioramas to life. The manufacturer is Armory.
The crews of British bombers operated at great heights in extreme cold, and for that reason they wore insulated suits, fur collars, hoods and oxygen masks. The pair of figures captures an informal moment from the life of the airmen.
First wash the parts free of any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Given the small scale, we recommend painting with a good brush and using oils or acrylics for fine shading of the gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
