Arabic Girl number 2, a civilian figure in 1:16 scale from MAiM. The second variant of the single girl figure for civilian dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second variant of the single civilian figure of a girl, or rather a teenager, from MAiM. The range of individual girl figures differs in the rendering of each figure, so the variants can be freely combined and built into little groups with no repeated poses. The 1:16 scale is one of the largest usual figure scales and lets painting show at its best.
The figure comes into its own wherever a scene needs a civilian: a street, a yard, a market or a bus stop. It also works nicely as a scale reference beside vehicles, because a human figure lets the viewer read the size of everything around it at once. Together with variants number 1 and 3 or with the three-figure set of girls it makes a varied group.
After cleaning up and washing, apply a primer. Try a different color key on this variant than on the other figures of the range, because alternating light and dark clothing makes a group readable. A fine wash will bring out the folds, oil paints will serve for shading the skin and a fine brush will finish the small items. A matte clear coat evens everything out.
The figure is supplied unpainted, as a casting to be cleaned up and painted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
