A set of figures in 1:16 scale, that is in the ratio in which a standing figure is about eleven centimeters tall. That is a size at which nothing can be fudged: the face, the hands, the folds of the coveralls and the equipment are all so large that even someone who takes no interest in figures will look at them. At the same time it is a size that rewards painting, because it has room for the transitions and shades that make no sense in small scales. The subjects are members of the tank units of the German federal army in the postwar period.
The set suits modelers who build large vehicle models and want to man them with a crew, and figure painters who are looking for a large scale. A figure beside a vehicle gives the model a sense of scale that cannot otherwise be told, and turns a display piece into a scene.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
