Aber 1:16 KV-1 / KV-2 Vol.3 – Tool boxes (late) is a photo-etched set of late tool boxes for a large scale model of the Soviet KV heavy tank.

A photo-etched brass detail set from Aber in 1:16 scale for the Soviet KV-1 or KV-2 heavy tank. The set reproduces the late types of tool boxes on the fenders and the hull with a faithful sheet thickness and fine hinges. It is an accessory, not a tank kit.
The KV-1 and KV-2 were Soviet heavy tanks of the start of the Second World War. The tool boxes served to stow tools and spare parts; their shape and form developed during production and this set matches the later form.
Separate the parts from the fret, bend them exactly on a photo-etch bending tool and glue them together with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer; an airbrush is recommended, followed by washes to bring the detail out.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The kit of the tank, glues and paints are not included in the package.
