Aber – a set of two ZB 37 barrels for the Panzer 38(t) (1:16) is a turned metal replacement for the machine gun barrels for a faithful detail on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This turned metal set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale contains two barrels of the ZB 37 machine gun for the Panzer 38(t) light tank. It is not a model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels with accurate turned parts with a faithful profile of the cooling jacket.
The ZB 37 was a Czechoslovak heavy machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber made by Zbrojovka Brno, which became the standard machine gun armament of the LT vz. 38 tank, listed in the German army as the Panzer 38(t). The vehicle carried two of these weapons, which is what this set matches.
Separate the metal barrels and glue or fit them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The turned version gives a faithful round profile of the jacket. Degrease the metal, apply a primer and a matte metal paint with light weathering.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
