Aber armament for the Japanese pre-dreadnought battleship Mikasa (1:200) is a turned metal detail set for models of ships.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal detail set from the Polish maker Aber, not a model in itself. It contains a set of accurate barrels of the main and the secondary armament for the Japanese pre-dreadnought battleship Mikasa in 1:200 scale. The set replaces the coarser plastic barrels from the box and raises the fidelity of the gun turrets and the casemate guns.
Mikasa was a Japanese pre-dreadnought battleship and the flagship of Admiral Togo at the Battle of Tsushima in 1905. She is one of the best known vessels of the Russo-Japanese War and is preserved to this day as a museum ship.
The turned barrels are tiny, so work with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and treat it with a primer. Unify the barrels in a dark metallic shade so that they match the rest of the armament.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
