The sheet is a paper accessory with printed posters and hoardings. According to the name it is prepared for 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 scale, so it will serve in an automotive scene, in a city street and beside vehicles. It is not a kit or a waterslide decal — you get a printed sheet from which you cut the motifs out and stick them up. In a scene they usually end up on a pole, on a billboard, on the wall of an underpass or on a boarded-up shop window.
The most rewarding place for this type of sheet is a round pole. A poster on it has to follow the curved surface: so before gluing, draw the paper between your thumb and the blunt side of a knife, so that it curls, and only then offer it up. More than one poster belongs on a pole, one over another, one half covered by the next, with the remains of torn sheets and with edges that lift. Evenly spaced whole posters look artificial.
You make a lifted corner by dampening the paper lightly at the fold, folding it and letting it dry, and only then gluing the rest of the poster down with a thin layer of PVA glue applied to the undercoat. Blacken the edges after trimming with a fine marker. The aging is taken care of by a light dark wash drawn off with a cloth and matte clear coat from a spray at a distance, which levels the sheen of the print.
It is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints, figures and the structure of a scene are not included in the package. Look at the motifs on the sheet before cutting and plan them into the scene.
